Pop Quiz: Who makes more money – Samsung with well over 50% global market share of handsets, or Apple with 13% of market share?
According to research firm IDC as reported today in the Wall Street Journal, the answer at the bottom line is Apple. Estimated operating profit for the just completed 2nd quarter shows Samsung with $5.63 billion to Apple’s $5.99 billion. The reason given is higher gross profit margins at Apple.
Whether you agree with the numbers (Nielson’s are different) or not, the point is still clear that it’s not how much you sell, it’s how much you make. CEOs and business owners who think selling more will fix their cash flow problems take note. And take action. 888-788-6534.
