With the recent release by McGraw-Hill of the second edition of Gene’s best selling book, Finance for Nonfinancial Managers, we’re getting interest from educators and others charged with informing their followers about the new book. An entrepreneurship class at Antioch University in Los Angeles will move to the new edition as its primary financial textbook – replacing the original, and John Wiley’s Nonprofit Business Advisor publication just included the notice at right in their October issue.
Why all the interest? Aside from the wide acclaim earned by the original book, this major revision is almost 20% larger, and includes new chapters on Return on Investment and its related investment metrics (Internal Rate of Return, Discounted Cash Flow, etc.) and Breakeven Analysis. Yet it’s still written in non-technical language for the people who consider themselves “non-financial” but don’t want to be.
As always, I welcome your comments and feedback.
